How to get to the FIAP conference center:

- If you come from Orly airport (RER_planwithinfo_3.jpg), better (and cheaper) to take OrlyBus, until its last stop (Denfert Rochereau station). Then you can walk 7-8 minutes to the Conference site: take Boulevard Saint-Jacques, take the 2nd street on the left (Rue Dareau) then the 1st on the left (Rue Broussais), and soon after turn again on the left (Rue Cabanis). A few meters and you are at FIAP.

Otherwise you can take the 6 line (“Nation”direction) until Glacière metro station (it is an overground station, 2 stops from Denfert-Rochereau), get out and walk “back” towards Denfert Rochereau  for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come from CDG Airport (RER_planwithinfo_4.jpg), take RER B (buy a ticket to Paris), get out at Denfert Rochereau station. Take the special bus for Paris. After 1h20’ you will arrive at Porte Maillot. Walk following the other travelers until the metro stop (not very easy to see when you arrive, but the crowd knows)

Take the line 1 (direction “Chateau de Vincennes”) until Charles-De Gaulle Etoile stop. Then take line 6, direction Nation, and get out at Glacière (it will be a 15-20 minute trip). Glacière metro station is an overground station, so get out and walk “back” towards Denfert Rochereau  for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come from Gare Du Nord (metro_planwithinfo_5.jpg), take RER B (buy a ticket to Paris), get out at Denfert Rochereau station. Then you can walk 7-8 minutes to the Conference site: take Boulevard Saint-Jacques, take the 2nd street on the left (Rue Dareau) then the 1st on the left (Rue Broussais), and soon after turn again on the left (Rue Cabanis). - If you come from Gare de l’Est (metro_planwithinfo_6.jpg), take the 5 line, direction Place D’Italie. At  place d’Italie change and take the 6 line, direction Charles de Gaulle étoile. Get out at Glacière (2stops from place d’Italie). Glacière metro station is an overground station, so get out and walk following the overground metro line direction  for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come from Gare Montparnasse (metro_planwithinfo_7.jpg), take the 6 line direction Nation and get out at Glacière. Glacière metro station is an overground station, so get out and walk “back” following the overground metro line direction  for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come from Gare de Lyon (metro_planwithinfo_8.jpg), take the 14 line direction Olympiades. Change at Bercy (1st stop) and take line 6, direction Charles de Gaulle Etoile. Get out at Glacière. Glacière metro station is an overground station, so get out and walk following the overground metro line direction  for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come from Gare Saint Lazare (metro_planwithinfo_9.jpg), take line 12 direction Mairie d’Issy. Change at Gare Montparnasse station and take line 6 direction Nation and get out at Glacière. Glacière metro station is an overground station, so get out and walk “back” for ~80 mt. Then turn left in Rue de la Santé and turn left at the first street (Rue Cabanis). Walk ~100 mt, FIAP is on your right.

- If you come by car: bad choice. Use your navigation system to get to FIAP. Where to leave the car: contact FIAP conference center (https://www.fiap.paris/en/contact/) to see if they know some safe and not-too-expansive parking. Parking in the streets is very expensive (not sure it is allowed for more than 2h), and in some places a bit dangerous.

ADVICES

- Beware of pickpockets. Be careful when handling smartphones, wallets etc. especially on RER and metro lines and stations

- Check that Visa & other documents are ok

- Bring two ID documents (passport & ID card – and other documents for non-EU citizens). Keep them in different places. Having a photocopy of documents may be very helpful in case of losing them

- Evenings (apart from Sunday 18th) are free, but informal social events will take place. Several lively districts are at walking distance (10-15 min)

- Attendance at courses is mandatory, especially if you want the certificate of attendance. In case of special needs, please contact us
